Bancha Tea is a specialty tea imported Japan. It is made from organically grown Kukicha tree twigs that are separated in the refining process of Sencha (green Tea). The twigs are then roasted in cast iron cauldrons to reduce the bitterness and tannins and give it its unique roasted flavour. It is a very popular as a daily tea in Japan. Due to its low caffeine content and many health benefits it is enjoyed by all tea drinkers, including children.
